Wire Erosion Service

The Wire EDM process enables us to cut extremely accurate profiles in hardened tool steel, tungsten carbide, aluminium, inconel, titanium and other exoctic alloys on our AMS tech AW3L & AW5L CNC Linear Drive wire erosion machines – as long as the metal is conductive it can be cut with Wire EDM.
Parts can be eroded from less than 1mm up to 390mm in thickness and up to 500kg in weight with maximum dimensions of 950mm x 650mm.
The machine can use 0.10mm, 0.15mm, 0.20mm, 0.25mm & 0.30mm diameter wires, the 0.25mm wire is the general diameter we use.
We undertake work for Press toolmaking, Extrusion toolmaking, General engineering, Aerospace & Power generation, Automotive & Autosport, Oil & Gas & Medical applications as well as projects for Universities & Research organisations, all enquiries are welcome.
